Keep Going, Keep Knoccking

Just because one door of opportunity has shut it’s self in front of you, doesn’t mean you should stop knocking.

Failures of today do not stop you from achieving tomorrow’s successes. You fail today it doesn’t mean you are destined to fail tomorrow.

It is better to die trying than never trying at all. Thomas Edison failed 10000times but each time he bounced back much stronger.

The Story of How Abraham Lincoln became the 16th President of America

Abraham Lincoln was born in 1809 and died in 1865. He was born of poor parents. He worked as rail splitter, flatboat man, storekeeper, postmaster, surveyor and finally became a lawyer.

Abraham Lincoln has a record of failures let me share some of them with you. He failed in business in 1831, he was defeated in legislature in 1832. Failed again in business in 1833 and had a nervous breakdown in 1836. He was defeated for speaker in 1838 and defeated for elector in 1840. He ran for Congress and was defeated in 1843. He was then elected for Congress three years later in 1846. In 1848 when there was a re-election he got defeated again. In 1855 he was defeated for Senate and defeated again for vice presidency in 1856. In 1858 he then stood again for Senate and lost and finally he was elected as the 16th President of the United States of America in 1860. But this was after a series of serious defeats.

Many give up after trying once. Abraham Lincoln never allowed one major defeat to stop him. He kept on knocking and making more noise.

Your dream is far much more important than for you to give up on it.

Failure is an event. It’s not your permanent characteristic. We learn from it and move forward. But please do not be insane. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expect a different result. Fail, learn, re-strategize and bounce back.

Remember: It’s the set backs that make the journey of success worth while.
