Your Attitude Matters

The Story of David and Goliath

Am sure we all familiar with the story of David and Goliath. There was a giant Philistine who was harrassing the children of Israel. One day, a 17 year old shepherd boy came to visit his brothers and asked, “Why don’t you stand up and fight the giant?” The brothers were terrified and they replied, “Don’t you see he is too big to conquer ?” But David said, “No, he is not too big to conquer, he is TOO BIG TO MISS.” And the rest was history. David killed the giant with a sling.

What made David kill Goliath, a giant that was feared by most of the soldiers in the army was his attitude.

We are living in adverse and turbulent times. There are so many setbacks before us , but my question to you today is how are you seeing these setbacks? In order to win in 2021 your attitude matters.

Your attitude determines how you look at a setback. While a setback can be a stumbling block to someone, it can be a success stepping stone to another.

Some might be saying January 2021 has been cancelled(ZVADHAKWA) . Just yesterday l was also in conversation with another group of people and they where saying we have been awarded yet another opportunity to work on ourselves, to develop our skills, to work on our character, to get close to God and to be happy with our families.

Henry Ford is remembered for saying these words, “Success is just an attitude, if you believe you can or cannot either way you are right.”

We have all been hit by the same setback. My question to you once again, how will you respond to the setback? Some are seeing impossibilities , some are seeing opportunities, What are you seeing?

Happy new year
